The floor is highly underrated as seating. If you have enough padding it can be the most comfortable place in the house. I decked out the floor of our set with large floor cushions and accent pillows to create a conversation pit worth talking about. My favorite wall treatment - the accent wall is used in this room to great effect with black on one wall and fuchsia on the other. Our decorative feature on our walls is big, bright, dimensional numbers cut from Styrofoam and painted in hot colors. Most of them are mounted on the black wall, creating pops of color that grab the eye. If you're living on the floor, you need furniture that comes down to meet you. We're featuring a fun bar on casters that rolls around with you and our record table and record player are at the perfect level for lounging. The room feels young and mod. It's the perfect room for a party!
