You can give it a phantom twin by putting a matching window treatment
on the wall in the opposite matching location to give your room some
necessary balance. "Put a 'window' where a window outta be!"
Have a piece of clothing that features a pattern you just love? Why
not photocopy it on a color Xerox machine and decoupage the copies
to the wall? You can create a custom wall treatment for less then
a double roll of designer wall paper and when you feel like it you
can put on the garment and blend into the wall!
