Why
Didn't You Think of that Have a scratch on a piece of light wood furniture? A tip from the Macadamia Nut Council could be your saving grace! Try rubbing a macadamia nut on the scratch (be sure to bite it in half first and use the salt free cross section on the wood). The oil in the nut will condition your wood and the meat will fill in the scratch. Need an island themed candleholder for your luau? Why not support your candles with pineapple rings? Buy a canned whole pineapple and, after draining the juice, put the whole thing on a plate and skewer it together with bamboo skewers. Garnish the plate with kale or other decorative leaves edible orchids and fruit, you can even top off the stabilizing skewers with fruit, then put a tall taper in the hole and you have an inexpensive, but tikily festive centerpiece that can double as dessert.
