DESIGN FOR LIVING

The perfect bathroom is a myth. As with all other applications for interior design, it's all subjective. This bathroom comes pretty close to pleasing everyone with its big loungy tub, low profile toilet and elegant sink. We've created 18th century elegance with a kicky mod feel by mounting molding on the wall and dressing the centers with newspaper. A whimsical touch is the set of binoculars by the "throne" to read the newspaper insets on the other side of the room with. The door has been wrapped with beautiful floral fabric and the fixtures provided by Kohler, coordinate with the "black and white and red all over" color scheme with an onyx black hue. The floor is carpeted (much nicer on feet then cold tile) with black bathroom carpeting - it's rubber backed and can be tossed in the machine. The old world charm is accentuated with a crystal chandelier and crystal trimmed pendant lamps. We accessorized with ruby glass accents which can be found everywhere during the holidays, but don't limit their display time, they can be used all year round because they're not so seasonally specific.
