This romp through the pastoral nature of life
in the country brings to mind a hybrid of Frog and Toad meets Hee Haw.
We talked about everything down home, with a special emphasis on the
kooky.
Help Me Brini! A day (or weekend) in the country can leave your skin a bumpy, itchy mess. Here are a few solutions to those buggy problems: 1. Try non sudsy ammonia for mosquito bites, if you catch them right away they won't itch so much. 2. Stingers can be removed with a strong pull of some sticky tape - just like waxing! 3. Alvo vera frozen into cubes is a perfect solution for easing summer's little skin irritations - keep some on hand! Random Thoughts Adam Perry Lang was such a sweetie! He's an excellent chef as well. I was pleased to hear that he had been a fan of my local New York show. Shooting on the roof of that building was not all together pleasant, however. In a few of the shots you can see our breath - it was mid October and we were cold! The hutch that we made on the show became the mascot for the editing room for the entire time we were in post production. It housed all the master tapes and kept us company through the long days of editing. One entire segment ultimately got cut from the show. That was a segment
celebrating the quirkieness of country accents. The content ultimately
got absorbed into the closing segment, but you can still see a moment
of the original segment in the end credits and a photograph of it
above. |
