Sometimes you need a night in with the girls - a chance to kibbutz and converse about the "dids and didn'ts" of the day. In this, the final episode of the first season we prepared to cocoon with our comrades and showed you how to too.

Why Didn't You Think of That?

OUT AND ABOUT

Daylle Deanna Schwartz, author of All Men are Jerks Until Proven Otherwise, and I spent a relaxing afternoon at the spa exploring the nature of relationship woes. She doesn't mean to disparage all men, what she means is that it's important to be aware of how he treats you. Watch how often you're making excuses for him, but don't confuse faults like leaving clothing on the floor or humming in the shower with signs like lying and lack of respect. Remember you can be your own perfect partner - treat yourself the way you want to be treated and you'll be in a better place to find the partner of your dreams.

INCIDENTAL TREASURES

Vintage beauty enhancers and tools are highly collectable now-a-days, and the nice thing about them is that they can be found fairly inexpensively in thrift shops and at garage sales. Items from the 50's and 60's have a great look to them and can be used as decorative accents in the home. Some of them are even still practical today!

HELP ME BRINI!

How do you change out the fragrance from a cherished perfume bottle? Fill the empty bottle with rubbing alcohol and let it stand overnight. Then in the morning dump it out and rinse it several times with water. It's now ready to refill with your new fragrance!

ANYWHO

Claude Soullard, chef of Seppi's Restaurant at Le Parker Meridian in New York was gracious enough to let us come and taste some of the delicious chocolate creations he serves at his chocolate brunch. It was a delightful romp through the world of chocolate. He also showed me a recipe for a simple chocolate mousse that was easy as pie to make

You'll need:
-12 oz dark semi sweet chocolate
-4 cups whipping cream
-Dash Grand Marnier

Start by melting your chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water. Whip the cream until it will hold a soft peak and then fold in the chocolate and mix until well combined. Add the Grand Marnier and serve.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

In the spa, the person massaging my feet is my makeup artist Hagen. She was generous enough to act the part of a massage therapist for the show, though she doesn't like being on camera.

For a lot of people, the thought of grazing on chocolate for an afternoon is their idea of heaven. I have to admit, it was lovely, the dishes were delicious, but after the 12th take I was feeling a little queasy, and by the end of the segment I was worried about stretching my foundation garments to the limit. Claude was the sweetest (no pun intended) and he's a very talented chef. Their chocolate brunch is definitely worth a trip.
